EDDIE WILLIAMS
Hello,
I’m Eddie Williams. Welcome to the website, here’s a little bit about myself.
I am the third generation of the Williams family in residential construction. My grandfather Wellington Williams is very well known around the Kawartha’s mostly for cottage raising and foundation work where he built a good reputation for himself. My father Gary Williams did much of the same cottage raising and foundation work. My father also built quite a few homes from start to finish plus many renovations, decks, siding etc. In doing so he also created a very reputable name for himself.
As you can surmise I’ve been around construction my whole life. Throughout my high school years I worked with my father. This is where I gained hands on experience in lifting houses, framing, trim work, etc. In high school I did a Co-op term in the electrical field and really enjoyed the work. After high school I did an electrical apprenticeship which lead to earning my Red Seal electrician certificate. After a few years of working as a journeyman I decided I needed a change. I rekindled working with my father where we lifted a few cottages and installed new ICF foundations. We also completed a couple start-to-finish new home builds. Quickly I realized this is what I wanted to do and as the business owner. Hence Williams Contracting was formed and my father joined the team. His years of experience have been invaluable and results in a strong team.
Since the official launch of Williams Contracting we have been very busy with new home construction projects. We are a complete start-to-finish builder. We also have completed deck projects, home/cottage additions and garages. We have many happy clients, some of whom were kind enough to give a testimonial which we have included on the website.
My approach to all of my projects is to build as if it’s my own. Quality and on time.
